California native Ed Hardy is recognized around the world for his technical brillance and mesmerizing imagery. In 1977 he founded Ed Hardy's Original Tattoo City in San Francisco which is still in operation today.

Ed Hardy is a painter, printmaker and tattoo artist. Fascinated bt tattoo since childhood, Hardy has become a master of his craft while continuing his work in the more traditional mediums of painting and drawing. His work is represented in the collections of "The Honolulu Academy of arts".
